GRAPHENE ANODE MATERIAL

2D fab offers the world’s most cost-efficient high-quality graphene products. We are now commercializing a new silicon-graphene anode formulation based on forefront science research.

We are developing and commercializing our anode material for lithium-ion batteries. By changing the charge carrier to a mix of silicon, graphene and binders, the anode material can theoretically increase the storage capacity by eight times compared to graphite, which today is the most commonly used material in lithium-ion battery anodes.

Our graphene adds to the mechanical strength and electrical conductivity, circumventing the well-known expansion problems and lower conductivity of silicon.
