We have recently completed a successful trial run on high-density fiberboard (HDF) production using an adhesive enhanced with bour bio-based graphene additive, 2Dx® AD-BIO. By integrating AD-BIO into the glue formulation, the process can be optimized to support more resource efficient manufacturing of HDF boards.
This represents a promising step forward in the development of smarter and more sustainable composite materials. The trial as carried out in close collaboration with the Swedish University of Agriculture (SLU) and IKEA, whose support and expertise have ben essential.
We look forward to continue the development of high-performance, bio-based adhesive solutions for the wood and fiberboard industries!
