CONCRETE

Concrete has been used in buildings, roads, and bridges for centuries. Concrete is strong, resilient, and easy to produce. One of the main components in concrete is cement which, unfortunately, is a major climate villain. Cement production require vast amounts of natural resources, and currently accounts for about 6-8% of the global CO2 emissions. 2D fab wants to change that, using graphene.

By adding graphene, you can sufficiently enhance the durability of structural concrete. Graphene also has the potential to drastically reduce the amount of CO2 the concrete industry is emitting, as graphene would make it possible to reduce the amount of Portland cement currently used in in concrete.

CASE DESCRIPTION CONCRETE

2D fab is working to facilitate the development of replacement products for Portland cement, with potential to make frost-resistant concrete that is both stronger and less prone to cracking. These products also proved to increase compression strength, flexural strength, and reduce water absorption in concrete.

 

PRODUCTS

Our graphene suspension consists of graphene, nano graphite and water. We deliver suspensions with concentrations between 10-20%. Our production process is designed for customization meaning we can tailor the percentage to fit your needs.
